Project Activity Scope (from Technical Overview Chart): Mechanisms through Sensors and Devices

PNNL Solution:

  • Identify antibody on a yeast clone with specificity to the antigen of interest from a library of 109 possible antibodies in the yeast population
  • Screen population containing the desired antibody specificity using flow cytometry
  • Utilized for microarray detector at sub pg/ml to detect Botulinum toxin KD 30pM
  • Capability resulted in R&D 100 Award

Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs: Biotechnology; antibody engineering; high speed cell sorting; antibody library development.
