Nonproliferation and Arms Control
Product Line Description: The Nonproliferation and Arms Control product line supports DOE and other government agencies in nuclear weapon, ballistic missile and conventional weapon arms control proliferation prevention and threat reduction, and environmental security. This is done by leveraging the Hanford Site legacy and associated expertise in weapons material production and safeguards, nuclear intelligence, environmental monitoring, and transuranic (TRU) waste management. This product line serves its customers by forming highly expert interdisciplinary teams to solve policy and technology problems in arms control and nonproliferation agreement negotiation, implementation, and verification; nuclear and conventional weapon commodity export control, former Soviet Union and international nuclear material safeguards; nuclear warhead dismantlement and nuclear weapons material disposition, proliferation prevention, and regional and environmental security.
