Chemical Stability Tests in Natural Conditions (168)
Problem: Need testbed to determine chemical stability in a controlled environment that simulates natural conditions.
Wind Tunnel Laboratory
Project Activity Scope (from Technical Overview Chart): Circuites & Devices through Integrated Systems
PNNL Solution:
- Key variables affecting airborne chemical stability: co-present chemicals and concentrations, temperature, humidity, aerosols, wind velocity, artificial sunlight, etc.
- PNNL wind tunnel allows direct control of these variables in single pass or recirculating operation
- Facility has complementary lab & instruments for chemical monitoring
Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs (additional description): Test planning; test performance; instrumentation system setup; wind tunnel condition programming; data analysis.
