PNNL Solution:
- Developed low-cost wireless sensor modules for real-time monitoring of packaged HVAC units
- RF communications are reliable from remote, rooftop locations
- Enables automated fault detection, diagnostics, and prognostics using complementary software tools which recommend action plans to increase system reliability and operating efficiency
- Undergoing field evaluation testing
