Project Activity Scope (from Technical Overview Chart): Circuits and Devices through Integrated Systems

PNNL Solution:

  • Developed low-cost wireless sensor modules for real-time monitoring of packaged HVAC units
  • RF communications are reliable from remote, rooftop locations
  • Enables automated fault detection, diagnostics, and prognostics using complementary software tools which recommend action plans to increase system reliability and operating efficiency
  • Undergoing field evaluation testing
