Project Activity Scope (from Technical Overview Chart): Circuits and Devices through Integrated Systems.

PNNL Solution:

  • Determined product environmental and handling risk factors
  • Established design performance goals
  • Leveraged PNNL health monitor system experience
  • Designed and fabricated module prototype
  • Established acceleration sensor threshold values
  • Performed environmental, lifetime and performance testing
  • Finalized sensor module design to pass full design review
  • Delivered design package and assisted with technology transfer

Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs: Requirements analysis, conceptual design development, sensor evaluation and selection, analog and digital electronics design, fabrication, and checkout, mechanical housing and mounting design, fabrication, and checkout, stress testing (environmental tests [T and RH] and drop tests), embedded software development and validation, develop complete engineering design documentation, pass formal DOD design review, support technology transfer to commercial vendor for production units.
