Problem: Need reliable detection of multi-option threats that may not be detected reliably by considering single sensor data

PNNL Solution:
- Simultaneous consideration of complementary data sets can improve detection reliability
- Developed Bayesian statistical framework for integrated sensor data analysis
- Used triage tree (t-tree) method for threat detection and identification
- Demonstrated for biological threat using multiple sensors
Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs: Advanced statistical and data analysis techniques including: Bayesian analysis, classification and regression trees, discrete and continuous multivariate comparison techniques, hierarchical cluster analysis, principal components analysis and sequential projection pursuit.
