Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs (additional description): PNNL's research vessel the Strait Science is a 29' aluminum-hulled vessel that is equipped with electronic positioning equipment (dGPS), a dive platform, and an A-frame with hydraulic winch for deployment of benthic samplers, towed oceanographic equipment, and mid-water and benthic trawls.
