PNNL Solution:
- Designed electronic circuitry with dual microprocessors for low-power, portable application requirement
- Implemented circuits using multiple, small PC boards, stackable/nesting housing and built-in board interconnects
- Demonstrated compact, robust, low-power module operation
Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs: Analog and digital circuit design for signal processing, signal detection, data evaluation, and decision making; design provided low-power consumption and long-term operation from battery power supply; RISC-based microprocessor implementation; microprocessor software development; PCB layout, fabrication, and testing; design and fabrication of compact housing; integration and testing of units; design documentation; delivery of completed units for client application.
