PNNL Solution:
- Obtain representative pressure vessel material for evaluation
- Perform laboratory ultrasonic evaluations to characterize flaws
- Validate ultrasonic data with complimentary NDE, SEM, metallography, and X-Ray Spectroscopy
- Flaw distribution data served as input to probabilistic fracture models
