Product Line Description: The Equipment Development and Mechanical Systems product line provides unique designs, modeling, simulation, prototyping, and/or production systems for mechanical, electromechanical, and robotics systems, which assist the war fighter in gaining dominance of the battle space and in enhancing defense readiness and national security capabilities. This includes applications to man-portable, ground, aquatic, airborne and space-based environments with high value-added content that meets or exceeds client mission requirements. Emphasis is placed on advancing the state of the art in adapting micro-engineering principles, systems, and novel materials to provide smaller, faster, more robust and cost effective means of accomplishing a design objective defense and national security clients.
