PNNL Solution:
- Developed Optically Stimulated Luminescent (OSL) phosphors with good sensitivity and dynamic range
- Produced image plate with small uniform grain size of OSL material and suitable matrix material
- Recorded OSL X-ray images and demonstrated electro-optic readout
OSL X-ray ImageCapabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs: Material science; radiation effects of materials; material characterization; laser based measurements for material evaluation; controlled radiation exposures; test planning, performance, and analysis.
