Problem: Need database of ultrasonic properties for liquids of interest* to allow instrument development and data interpretation.

- Selected liquids for analysis
- Measured properties of selected liquids over temperature range
- Determined measurement errors and uncertainties to ensure reliable data interpretation
- Compiled database structured to allow reliable liquid identification or classification
*Both target and likely confounder liquids.

Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs: Analyze liquid property data to establish key parameters to support application requirements; establish database structure to allow efficient searching and sample analysis; record required data for test liquids including temperature effects; populate database using experimental data; evaluate measurement errors and uncertainties to ensure reliable data interpretation; conduct validation tests and performance demonstration tests in the field.
