Problem: Measure ultrasonic interactions with liquids to allow characterization of interactions and sample properties.

  • Configured measurement system and signal processing to meet specific application requirements
  • Acquired and recorded data on test and reference samples
  • Analyzed data to obtain needed information

Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs: Ultrasonic property measurements including interfacial reflection, refraction effects, energy absorption, scattering, frequency and polarization effects for various temperatures; ultrasonic probe design and signal processing electronics; modeling of ultrasonic interactions to support data interpretation; multi-effect signature analysis; advanced data analysis methods to identify and test correlation of ultrasonic and macro-mechanical properties of liquids.
