Capabilities Employed to Meet Client Needs: Laboratory instrumentation application including adaptation for specific measurements, electronics for transducer drivers, signal detection, and signal processing; ultrasonic property measurements including interfacial reflection, refraction effects, absorption, scattering, frequency and polarization effects; ultrasonic probe design and signal processing electronics; multi-effect signature analysis; advanced data analysis methods to identify and test correlation of ultrasonic and macro-mechanical properties; algorithm development to provide prediction of sample mechanical properties from ultrasonic measurements.
